Introduction: The Curve is Malaysia’s first pedestrianised shopping mall. 

Strategically located in Mutiara Damansara, the Curve is accessible via 5 ways namely the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP), Sprint Highway (Penchala Link), Damansara Perdana and Persiaran Surian.

It is a one-stop shopping destination for the whole family. the Curve has an amazing array of over 50 food and beverage outlets located in “The Street” which offers an enjoyable al fresco dining experience. There is a wide choice of western and Asian cuisine along its wide canopied walkways leading into its Asian and Western courtyards.

Transportation: Free Shuttle Bus Services from Kelana Jaya LRT station (wheelchair friendly?)

Other bus services: please check the bus service to nearer station – Ikano Power Center. There is no bus station at The Curve (read more)

Disabled Car Park: Provides 4 (or more) Disabled Car Park in each basement parking level (B1 and B2), located at right beside Life area , can park without request for un-lock and ramp is available 

Points to take note:

  • Disabled signage is not at overhead signboard to indicate the location of Disabled Car Park.
  • There is no automatic barrier entry system to the car park, it is not accessible to disabled people including deaf and hard of hearing people who do not speak.
  • Door to access nearest lift area is not automatic door.
  • Parking fee payment machine is not availble at lift area that near to disabled car park.
  • Parking fee payment machine is too high for wheelchair user to see the parking fee, and insert coin/bank note

Main Entrance: Ramps are available in all main entrance. 

Disabled Toilet: Disabled toilets are provided in all toilet areas. Sufficient door size for wheelchair access. Well maintained and equipped (support hand-rail and washing basin is at low enough for wheelchair users, mirror is adjusted at good degree to used) 

Points to take note:

  • No fittings (e.g. soap dispenser, light switch, electric hand dryer) are available in Disabled Toilet)
  • Toilet Paper is located high and not conveniences for disabled people to reach
  • “Disabled-toilet” sign is not displayed at overhead signboard (only Male and Female signs are displayed)

Lift: Lifts are provided, well maintained and equippped: 

  • Support handrail
  • Visual and Voice indication for floor location.
  • Mirror is available
  • Button is with signage for blind people to know the function (i.e. floor level , open and close)

  • Ramps are available to most of the shopping area
  • Reflection mirror at corner is placed

wheelchairs/ baby strollers and power shoppers are available at the Concierge. With a deposit of RM50 and placement of an identity card, you can loan the wheelchair, baby stroller or power shopper for use in the mall and the pedestrianied F&B precinct.
